Zip Carpet is designed to lay right on top of the existing carpet. It can be installed or removed in an instant. We use a premium Woven carpet having the same stitch rate as the oem carpet but with a lower profile to allow ball to easily pass under pit cushion. Our Zip Carpet will hold more oil and dirt than cloth covers so is does not need to be changed nearly as often, in fact twice a season is sufficient. Cloth carpet covers are notorious for holding pins, bunching up and causing respots if they are not changed at least once a week. Other carpet covers such as urethane do nothing to clean the pins or balls. Those covers may deliver pins quickly but they are filthy and transfer that grime to the pins and your bowler’s shirts.
